Two Great iPhone Apps for Beanstalk – Win a free copy!
We are excited to announce two iPhone apps made specifically for Beanstalk – Habichuelas by Microedition Biz and Magic Bean by Andrew Yates. Both of them provide access to the repository activity on the go with some unique features. Read on to find out more, and find out how to get a free copy of your favorite app for yourself!
Habichuelas was the first app created to work with Beanstalk and is good for keeping a finger on the pulse of your account. It provides a set of detailed information on repositories and users, like repository type, size, latest comments, latest activity time and user’s photo, timezone and email. You can edit some of this data or send an email to the user right in the app. Changesets show a list of changed files and allow to participate in comments.
Magic Bean was launched last week but already has received some good reviews from our users! At the moment it’s focused mostly on deployments – you can review all deployments or deploy any specific commit to any environment on the go. This may be specially useful if a manual deployment is used for your production server and only a few people in the team have admin permissions to start it. And of course, it provides access to repositories activity and changesets, too.
Both Habichuelas and Magic Bean is not endorsed or affiliated with Beanstalk and built using only our API. Please remember to enable the API in your Beanstalk account before using any third party products.
